About

As the digital content strategist for the poverty-fighting nonprofit CARE, one of the world’s largest INGOs, I create and manage content to drive advocacy and engagement. I helped lead strategy and execution of Dream With Her, CARE’s most successful video campaign ever. CARE’s March 2018 advocacy campaign #ThisIsNotWorking generated a record number of petitions supporting an to end gender-based violence at work.

Prior to CARE, I spent more than a decade working as a journalist, including running an award-winning multimedia newsroom for four years. I have experience as a reporter, writer, editor, public speaker, and project manager. My writing and editing has appeared in a number of publications including The Guardian, Atlanta Magazine, Creative Loafing, ArtsATL, Fodor’s Travel, and Art Papers, among others. I am the author of Wallpaper* City Guide – Atlanta (2012), a guide to Atlanta focusing on the city’s artistic, cultural, design and architectural highlights. I also speak French and spent some time in Périgueux, France, as a high school English teacher.
